TVS Eurogrip offers an extensive warranty for motorcycle and scooter tyres, covering both manufacturing defects and accidental damages. You get up to a 7-year warranty against manufacturing flaws and an additional unconditional warranty on select models for the first few years
1. WARRANTY COVERAGE DETAILS
Manufacturing Defects: Valid for 7 years from the date of manufacture, or until the remaining tread reaches the Tread Wear Indicator (TWI) of 0.8 mm, whichever happens earlier
·
Unconditional Warranty: Applicable on select two-wheeler tyres for up to 3 years from the manufacturing date or until 50% of the tread is worn out (whichever is earlier). This covers accidental cuts, rim damage, and non-repairable punctures. [1]
Tubes: Carries a separate 2-year warranty from the manufacturing date against production defects
2. PRO-RATA REPLACEMENT SYSTEM
If your tyre qualifies for a warranty replacement, the adjustment is calculated on a pro-rata basis depending on the tread wear:
Up to 10% tread wear (Manufacturing): Free replacement.
Up to 5% tread wear (Unconditional): Flat ₹50 processing fee.
Beyond 10% wear: The replacement cost is shared pro-rata. For instance, if the tyre has 25% wear, you pay 25% of the new tyre's cost, and so on, until the limit of 90% wear is reached.
3. HOW TO CLAIM YOUR WARRANTY
Digital Registration: Tyres should ideally be registered online via the Eurogrip Warranty Registration portal within 30 days of purchase to generate a digital warranty certificate.
Process : Visit any authorized Eurogrip dealership or contact the location where the tyre was purchased. You must carry your original purchase invoice and the digital warranty certificate. A Technical Service Engineer will measure the tread wear and verify the defect before approval
4. WHAT IS NOT COVERED
Warranties do not cover damages resulting from:
Incorrect air pressure or overloading.
Faulty vehicle alignment, suspension issues, or improper wheel balancing
Punctures from nails/sharp objects (unless they cause irreparable large cuts covered under the unconditional warranty)
Willful abuse, racing/track use, or regular wear and tear
